Hi all in Ranger Land,
Just a wee note to stop the strong rumour about Billy McCullagh. I got
5 text today informing me that Billy had been killed in Iraq yesterday
24 Jan.07.
I am very happy to let all know that Billy was not killed in Iraq or
is even in Iraq. I was talking to him this morning and he is alive and
kicking.
So if you get anymore text about Billy please let the person know that
all it is, is a roumor. The last thing we would want is something like
that to get back to Billys mother and worry the hell out of her.

Can anyone help me please? I am an Ex-Civvie Police Officer trying to
trace Jackie MAXWELL. In 1972 I was a Det Cons at WARMINSTER when 2Bn
RIR were at Battlesbury Bks. Willie CAIRNS was RSM at the time. I
worked closely with members of the Bn and my wife and I became friends
with then Bugle Major Jackie MAXWELL and his wife. In 1973 I was
promoted and moved away and regretably we lost contact. I think
Jackie may have returned home and joined the RUC, but I am not at all
certain of that. I would dearly love to contact them again so if
anyone can point me in the right direction or contact him for me and
pass on this message I would be very grateful. Best wishes to you all
- I had some great times with you. Kind regards to anyone who knew
me, even those few who wish they didn't.
