A well soldiered campaign displaying excellent moral and personal
courage.

Colonel Mike McGovern spoke very well and came across with your
activities brilliantly. Gerry (webmaster) perhaps we can put in the

To all still serving whether under the colours or civi in all the

A Job Well Done
Welcome back all the 1st Bn lads, we are all very proud of the work
you have been doing in Afghanistan, you have enhanced the reputation
of your Battalion, The Regiment and of the Irish Soldier.
We will never forget the comrades who paid the ultimate sacrifice and
our thoughts and prayers are with those still recovering from their
wounds.
To all the R Irish officers and men still serving with various units
in Afghanistan, Iraq and across the globe and to all the Wild Geese
take care.
May you god go with you.
