"FOR THEM"
God and the soldier all men adore
in time of trouble and no more
for when war is over and things righted
god is neglected and the soldier slighted
to absent
friends.

Deepest sympathy to the Families and Colleagues of the 3 lads KIA
Afghan Theatre..
However idiotic the instruction to be there, however ill equipped the
lads are, however dangerous the task in hand they and those still
there display a self discipline and courage that will never be
forgotten and should be a lasting example to all...
At the Going down of the Sun and in the morn - We shall remember
them.

It is with deep sadness and regret that I read about the lads who have
lost their lives and those who have been injured during their tour in
Afgh.
At church to-night we will be praying for the families and loved ones
of those who have been killed and injured. My own thoughts and
sincere prayers are for all those lads still on active service. My
prayer is that God would keep them safe until they return to their
families and regiment.
