Hi to all who i served with in osnabruck 86-91. Why i'm on heard is to ask has anyone heard the names of those CP workers kidnapped in Iraq a month ago. I have been told through rumor control that they are all ex members of the royal irish plus i was given a name of a very good friend Anto Wickham ex 2nd Batt/3 Royal Irish as one of those taken. Can anyone confirm if this is true or false.

The Royal Irish Rangers were one of the most distinguished and proud regiments of the line, famous worldwide for their excellence at their work, bravery of the Irish Soldier, faithful to friend, fearful to foe.

On Sunday 17th June 2007 we have the chance to honour all the Irish soldiers whom lost their lives in service of the crown, with a parade down Whitehall to the cenotaph. These men gave all for our freedom, it is our duty as ex soldiers to commemerate their lives, and therefore I appeal to all who are able to attend the parade, to do so please.

The parade forms up at 10:00hrs in Whitehall Place, Whitehall, London, SW1

I look forward to seeing you all there
