I would like to take this opportunity to quash the rumour that seems
to be going around about Anto Whickham, with regards to the captured 5
out in Iraq.
I have today been in touch with Anto and he has asked that I post this
entry to let people know that he is safe and well. He is currently
having difficulty posting any entries onto the site - Gerry can you
assist him in any way, I have his email address should you require it.
So for those that were concerned about him, he is ok. He also wanted
to extend his sincere thanks to all the Ranger Family for thinking
about him.
As for Geordie Watton I asked Anto and he thought he was out in
Africa, this is unconfirmed.

It is with sadness that I announce the death of John (Jack) Millar,
the father of Ady Millar (L2) On Monday 11th June 2007. I'm
sure Ady would welcome comfort and support at this sad time, from all
that know him. Thinking of you at this time of deep sorrow. It was
an honour and privilage to have known your father (Jack). RIP

The Royal Irish Rangers were one of the most distinguished and
proud regiments of the line, famous worldwide for their excellence at
their work, bravery of the Irish Soldier, faithful to friend, fearful
to foe.
On Sunday 17th June 2007 we have the chance to honour all the Irish
soldiers whom lost their lives in service of the crown, with a parade
down Whitehall to the cenotaph. These men gave all for our freedom,
it is our duty as ex soldiers to commemerate their lives, and
therefore I appeal to all who are able to attend the parade, to do so
please.
The parade forms up at 10:00hrs in Whitehall Place, Whitehall, London,
