Operation Banner is the Army`s longest continuous campaign in its
history, with more than 300,000 personnel serving over 38 years.
They/we, witnessed Northern Ireland`s darkest hours, with a total of
763 soldiers killed.
We should take this opportunity to remember the commitment, bravery
and sacrifice of all those who have served over so many years in
helping deliver the current, more settled and more optimistic
circumstances.
It is however unforgiveable that we should loose our beloved Depot,
which produced so many brave fighting soliders. (lest we forget)

They may have closed OUR Depot. but they have NOT robbed us of our
memories nor the comradeship we were endowed with there.
Whoever organised the closing should be made to stand on the square at
midnight and apologise to all of us who they chose to ignore.
DISGUSTING !

Would,nt it have been great to have visited the Depot where you
trained as a recruit for the last time and perhaps meet up with former
platoon recruits and chat about those crazy days.
Hang your head in shame the organisers of this fiasco

all the Regimental head dress and tie that I ask for on here and glad
to see that the comradeship is still strong in the Regiment.Thank you
