Hello thought you all might like to sign a petition to help the chap
in the story below.
A Gurkha who won the VC fighting for this country has been told
"because he failed to demonstrate strong ties with the UK"
he is not welcome here. Tul Bahadur Pun 84 singlehandedly charged a
japanese position in Burma under heavy fire. He had an exemplary 18
year career won 10 more medals for risking his life in Malaysia, India
and Hong Kong.
I strongly believe that if you have served in the British Army you are
more than entitled to live here when you leave. He is not asking to
bring all his family and village here with him. I think he quailifies
for a room at the Royal Hospital Chelsea.

Please follow the link above and try and change the Government's
mind (if it has one)
Many thanks Sparky.

Squeaky, good to hear from you, even though its only for slagging
purposes!! Athens was an experience, unfortunately the way your team
plays in Europe you mightn't experience it for another 31 years
haha.
For those who remember Alfie Stalker, IR Irish Mortars, met him at the
ground in Athens, he had blagged his way in as usual, after travelling
across from Kos!! same auld Alfie haha.
